Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robot vacuum-mop is a good option for flat dwellers, as it carries the rubbish away in its own bin and uses the docking station that is smaller. The app lets you select different modes and monitor cleans as well as the mopping feature is awe-inspiring.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance and mops are impressive. It picks up pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and replenishes its water tank.

Roomba Combination from iRobot

The iRobot Combo is an iRobot that can vacuum and mop. It doesn't quite unseat our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an app that is easier to use on mobile devices however it makes for a strong alternative. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all kinds and sizes from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't the most sophisticated in the world, and isn't equipped with structured light and other technology like LiDAR, but it was able to avoid most collisions with furniture and clutter.

The Combo includes the majority of the same features as the j7 Plus and comes with new onboard acoustic sensors to identify the type of floor and AI-powered navigation, but lacks the ability to set suction power manually. It's also smaller than its vacuum-only counterpart and it doesn't have a self-empty dock.

Based on my experience, the Combo is a fantastic choice for homes of all kinds and its sleek design is one of the most attractive in the market. The matte black finish is more sophisticated than the metallic or glossy finishes of many competitors. iRobot also adds some elegant touches, like a leather tab for opening the onboard bin, and a shelf to hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to easily create maps of your home, as well as to create Keep-Out Zones, No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.

Roborock

While Roborock is relatively new to the robotic vacuum and mop market but it's already established its mark thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning technologies. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, while its mopping systems use vibrating mops to keep floors clean. Furthermore, a range of mapping and scheduling options allow you to fine-tune the bot's cleaning schedule for your home's specific needs.

Roborock's obstacle avoidance function allows the robot to detect objects that are lower than its own height. This is especially useful for Roborock's most popular models, like the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind when it comes to navigation, thanks to vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been notorious for hitting furniture and run over pet faeces without noticing but the Qrevo Master solves this issue by using Reactive AI, which uses twin cameras to perceive objects in a room.

Roborock robots also have a number of convenience features that help reduce day-to-day maintenance. These include docks that can automatically empty themselves and multi-functional mop washing stations. These features eliminate the need to empty dustbins or wash mops by hand, allowing to enjoy a hands-free ownership experience. In addition the app's minimalist design and seamless connection to the robot makes it simple to use.

Hobot Legee D8

Hobot Legee, with its extensive range of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping features, is among the top robot vacuums/mops available for both dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates 5 technologies to plan and follow a path that is the most efficient. It can also detect different flooring materials and identify obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can raise it up to 7mm in order to glide across carpets. The smart spray system uses the appropriate amount of water to remove staining without leaving ugly water marks.

The Legee is a Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both models cost more. It has more features than either of them, including a more flexible, D-shaped body that cleans the corners and under cabinets better than a round-shaped robot. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass), 4 forward-facing and one right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and two pairs of cliff detectors front and rear (most robots have only one pair). It also comes with Legee SLAM that helps to reduce the bump-and-grind issues that are a problem for Gen 4 Robots.

Contrary to other robots unlike other robots, the Legee has an integrated trash compactor that supports the less noisy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop wash station is included and washes, refills and dry your mop's 'cloth. This means that you can use it for up to six times longer than other mops. It also reduces waste and the frequency with which bins are emptied.

Karcher RCV 5

The brand is known for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for a while and it's the most tech-savvy model. It can create maps for your home using LiDAR and can be programmed either to mop or vacuum. It also can tell the difference between hard floors and carpets, so that you don't get puddles on a precious pile.

Its navigation is top-notch, avoiding furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lowering itself up steps. The robot can be customised with a variety of settings that include cleaning schedules and rooms it should clean. It has an emergency button' that forces the robot to return home in the event that its power is cut off. It can be programmed to turn off automatically when a storm approaches.

The RCV 5 is very easy to use and, despite being heavy, at around 4kg, you shouldn't have any trouble maneuvering it around furniture. Safety features like a sensor that alerts you to stay clear of stairs are appreciated by those with smaller children. Once it is charged it takes just several hours to fully recharge and the two buttons at the top will flash in green to let you that it is ready for use.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that blends modern cleaning technology and affordability. It's a competitor to models like the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its less expensive price it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that many more expensive models can't beat. It utilizes sensors to alter the settings for various surfaces and floors, as well as to identify areas that are more prone to dirt. It can also move slower to avoid damaging delicate furniture or walls.

You can also see the map of your home within the app. You can also mark areas and objects that you'd like the vacuum to stay away from. The vacuum will slow down when it spots an obstacle, and will stop from hitting it. It also comes with an intelligent dust bin, that alerts you to its fullness so you can empty the bin at the right time.

The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective option for those who wish to delegate their daily cleaning tasks. It has dual functionality as a robot vacuum and mop that lets you keep your floors clean without having to lift a finger. It is designed with a clever layout that improves corner cleaning by up to 60 percent. It has a suction power of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, which is controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 is a sleek, feature-packed vacuum and mop. It does an excellent job at keeping floors clean and tidy. While it can't raise its mops on carpets or rugs like the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors as well as tackling mopping with a stunning speed. It also comes with a self-emptying bin, delivers an excellent suction power, provides a number of mopping options, and is controlled by a top-quality app that is compatible with both iOS and Android.

It's a little smaller than its competitors, and its main brush is a bit shorter but it still managed an impressive job in our test room. The revolving brush on the side that is used for edges is a nice touch and, while it didn't lift dirt off our carpets and was not as effective as other competitors, it did a very good job overall.

Individual cleaning parameters can be set up for each room and the device will automatically create detailed maps of the rooms by using LiDAR's built-in navigation.  auto vacuum  is easy to use and comes with various options for voice output that can keep you informed of the condition of your robot. Regular software updates improve and enhance the capabilities. The app can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're away from home.
